Event Details
Take something old and make it new! Have a clothing item you no longer wear? Join us in the Makery for a fun appliqué workshop and learn how to give your wardrobe new life. Bring an item you’re willing to cut up (like an old shirt or jeans) and something you’d like to decorate (like a shirt with a stain you want to cover up). We’ll provide stabilizer, thread, and instruction.
Need inspiration? Turn a dress shirt into a heart appliqué for a pillowcase, or add sweater fabric to a pair of jeans. Not sure what to bring? Contact Grace at gracek@homewoodlibrary.org or stop by the Makery to ask.
For Homewood patrons 18+. $5 materials fee. Registration Required.
